Synthonia responded with a right wing corner into the box seeing a couple of shots on goal blocked before Jarrow keeper Thomas White smothered the ball.

Another move forward for Jarrow called for Taylor to make the save from a shot from the left on the edge of the box. Billingham then advanced with Matty Willshaw playing right to Ash Lavan who shot wide of the target.

A shot from the right from the visitors was comfortable for Taylor before Synthonia opened the scoring in the 38th minute as JAMIE McLEOD shot on goal from a free-kick on the right which went under the keeper and in.

Jarrow threatened again with a free-kick into the box resulting in a shot across goal from the left going to the back post and a shot just wide. They levelled the game up in the 42nd minute with a long ball forward seeing Taylor off his line, but the keeper's clearance ricocheted off RYAN HARDIE with the ball falling kindly for the forward who saw it home.

Billingham started the second period better and came close when Jonny Peacock played inside from the left for McLeod who swung a ball in to the back post where Luke Hogan volleyed on goal which White was a match to with the save.

The visitors advanced and a shot from Lytfur Karim went wide before Synners attacked again with Lewis Poorritt making a good run on goal; White again denying with a good save.

A strong run on the right from Tyler Miley saw him bring the ball out of defence into attack which resulted in him trading passess with Porritt before having his shot blocked by a defender. Then a long throw-in into the box from Peacock came to Alfie Simpson who headed just wide of the near post.

The last chances of the game saw Porritt shoot over for Synners and a shot from the left from the visitors bringing a save out of Taylor.
