Synthonia welcomed Esh Winning for their last home game of the season and had to settle for a share of the points in a 1-1 draw.

An early Synners chance saw Matty Willshaw release Craig Hutchinson to the left of goal, but Esh keeper Harry Alderson was off his line quickly to deny a goal scoring chance. The visitors then advanced and a ball from the left to the back post saw a shot on goal which was denied by Billingham keeper Sam Taylor.

A short corner on the left for Billingham resulted in Luke Hogan trying a long range shot which was comfortable for Alderson. Esh advanced again and a long range shot took a deflection off a forward with Taylor able to save.

The half ended goal-less with neither team able to create any clear cut scoring opportunities.

Half-time: Synners 0, Esh Winning 0

After the break and a long thow-in into the box from Jonny Peacock was headed onto Hogan from Jack Winstanley; Hogan's shot from the right though, going past the far post. Hogan then did well on the left bye-line to win possession and send in a low cross for Willshaw who was denied by Alderson who smothered at the striker's feet.

A couple of chances for Esh saw a shot from the edge of the box by Samuel Haynes parried wide by Taylor. Then a corner from the right brought a header on goal which went over the bar.

It was Esh Winning who opened the scoring when, in the 72nd minute, a corner from the left was headed clear only as far as an Esh player who played right to substitute Joe Bates who saw his cross turned into his own net from JAMIE McLEOD.

Synthonia were soon level when in the 74th minute substitute Ash Lavan sent a ball over the defence for LUKE HOGAN to go in on goal and he made no mistake with a neat lob over the advancing keeper and in.

Esh Winning were reduced to ten men in the 82nd minute when Bates was shown a straight red following a tussle with Winstanley. No more chances were created and the game ended in a stalemate.
