Synthonia travelled to Moor Park, Chester-le-Street and brought home the three points in a hard fought win.

A chance for Synners saw a Jack Winstanley shot blocked and fall for Matty Willshaw, but his shot was wide of the target. Then Joe Scaife-Wheatley played to Willsahw who ran on goal on the right; his shot this time saw former Synner Tom Orton down to make the save.

A lengthy stoppage forced Billingham defender Lewis Heap off the field with a gash to the head after a coming together with a Chester-le-Street player.

The home side advanced on the left with a long range shot going harnlessley wide of Ollie Simpson's goal. Synthonia then advanced with Willshaw playing to Ash Lavan, his shot though also harmlessley wide of the target.

The Cestrians had a couple of chances to open the scoring before the break with firstly Andrew Clarkson bringing a good save out of Simpson and from the resulting right wing corner a header at the back post went just wide.

Chester-le-Street made advances after the break and a shot on goal looped into the air which resulted in a volley over the bar. Synthonia responeded with a couple of Scaife-Wheatley corners from the right seeing efforts wide and over the bar.

The home side were reduced to ten men in the 75th minute when an off the ball incident resulted in Harvey Smith being shown a straight red card.

A shot from the left for Billingham from Mitch Noble was comfortable for Orton before Synners grabbed an 89th minute winner with Winstanley releasing Lewis Porritt on the right who advanced on goal and saw his shot saved by Orton, however the loose ball was fired into the net from close range by DECLAN BROWN.

The last chance of the game saw Synners clear from a Chester-le-Street free-kick and Willshaw released Porritt in on goal with Orton coming out on top with the save.
