Howes again crossed from the left, this time to the back post where the ball dropped for Ben Henderson who saw a shot blocked. Brandon then advanced with Reece Brown having a shot on goal which Billingham keeper Dan Dixon stopped.

After a Howes shot saw him send the ball just past the post, Synners opened the scoring when in the 30th minute Henderson on the left crossed for JOHN HOWARD to side foot home into the net.

Synners had a chance to extend their lead with Howard having a shot well blocked by a defender. Brandon also created a half chance, but Brown shot over the bar with a shot from distance.

An early second half Billingham attack saw Henderson and Howes combine with the latter having a shot blocked. Brandon then threatened and a dangerous ball into the box from the left was just out of reach of Nial Fingleton. Fingleton then came close with a shot from the left which Dixon was able to tip over the bar.

Synthonia doubled their lead wioth a second goal after 52 minutes as a Foster Garton cross from the right reached Mills at the back post who cut inside a defender, but was denied by Coombs; the loose ball fired in from close range by JOSH ROWBOTHAM.

Just a minute later and Brandon halved the deficit as a ball forward to Fingleton saw him play to REECE BROWN who sent a great strike past Dixon and in.

Brandon looked for a leveller and on the hour mark Fingleton advanced and saw a shot from the edge of the box deflect into the arms of Dixon.

Synners threatened with a Mason McNeill shot from the right which went just past the far post and then a Howes shot from just inside the box was just over the bar.

A third goal for Billingham came in the 67th minute with McNeill on the right playing to JOHN HOWARD who took the ball past a defender before sending in a great strike which was beyond Coombs and into the net.

Brandon looked for a way back into the game with Brown doing well to get in a shooting position; his shot though was comfortable for Dixon. Synners responded with Henderson doing well to create an opening and shooting over Coombs, but saw his shot hit the crossbar. Then Jack Bailey set up Howard who saw Coombs well behind his shot.

The last chances of the game saw Synthonia substitute Ciaran Banks having a shot from the right which was over the bar and then Mills cut in from the left but had his shot charged down.
