Billingham took the three points with a late winner against ten-men Sunderland West End.

There was little in the way of good chances from either side in the opening half an hour with only a shot from the visitors' Lewis Charlton seeing Synthonia keeper Jaan Yaqub save and a Max Craggs free-kick for Synners seeing Ben Henderson shoot towards goal which West End keeper Neil Bussey managed to gather.

West End were reduced to ten men in the 37th minute when Dominic Moan was shown a straight red for an off the ball incident.

A run forward from Kurtis Howes saw him create space for a shot, but over the bar as the half came to a close.

Half-time: Synners 0, Sunderland West End 0

Billingham looked for the opener with Howes on the left finding Craggs, his shot though, wide of the target. West End responded with substitute Owen Imerson also shooting wide.

There was still little in the way of clear goal chances with Craggs heading over from Clark Kay's cross. Craggs came closest in the 74th minute with a shot in the box which kissed the outside of the left hand upright.

Synthonia grabbed the winner in the 91st minute with Yaqub sending a punt upfield which was headed on by Craggs to BEN HENDERSON to the left of goal and he saw his shot past Bussey and into the bottom right corner of the net.
