Billingham had to settle for a point away at Bedlington Terriers despite taking a healthy first-half three-goal lead.

The opening goal for Synthonia camne in the 9th minute with a Ben Henderson right wing cross finding DANNY CHAPMAN who shot home from close range.

On a quarter of an hour Synners doubled their lead as Max Craggs sent in a free-kick from the right for BEN HENDERSON to head home.

Synthonia looked to be cruising as they added a third in the 24th minute with Henderson on the left sending in a ball across goal for DANNY CHAPMAN to notch his second of the game.

Bedlington pulled a goal back in the 29th minute when a free-kick was sent into the box where Synners keeper Dan Dixon couldn't collect and JACK ROYS was on hand to see the loose ball home into an empty net.

A couple of more chances before the break came for the home side as they looked to reduce the deficit further, but they were denied by a Dixon save and an offside goal.

The Terriers continued to keep the Synthonia defence on the back foot after the restart and got their reward in the 48th minute with JACOB ZYCH firing in a shot which deflected past Dixon and in.

Bedlington were reduced to ten men in the 59th minute with skipper Sam Dinsley seeing red after a rash challenge on substitute Josh Hatton.

They still managed a well deserved point though as they found the net again in the 78th minute when a free-kick wide left from DANIEL JONES evaded everyone and found the top right corner of the goal.
