Billingham took home the full three points in a 1-0 win away at Tow Law.

Chances were limited in the opening exchanges with strong winds making it difficult conditions for both sides, but after the first 15 minutes Synners started to create with a Scott howes cross from the left finding seeing a couple of close range shots blocked by the Lawyers rearguard. A few minutes later and Kurtis Howes saw sight of goal, but saw his shot deflect wide.

Billingham had a great chance to open the scoring when they were awarded a penalty kick in the 28th minute following a foul on Kurtis Howes from Joel Pearson. Howes stepped up to take the spot-kick but Tow Law keeper Lewis Graham dived low to his left to make the save.

The breakthrough for Synthonia came just before half-time with a great through ball from Ben Bielby sending KURTIS HOWES in on goal and the striker made no mistake as he guided the ball home past the keeper just inside the right upright.

Half-time: Tow Law Town 0, Synners 1

The hosts threatened early in the second half with a header on goal looping on to the top of the cross-bar. Later on they won a free-kick which Pearson could only shoot straight at Synners keeper James Dawson.

The last meaningful chances of the game came either side of the 75 minute mark as Lawyers Mason Hurworth shot wide of the target and then Synthonia advanced with D'Andre Wainwright seeing his shot on goal blocked.
