Synthonia travelled to Sunderland West End and came away with the three points in a 4-1 win.

Billingham were quick out the blocks and opened the scoring in the 2nd minute when BEN BIELBY shot from just outside the penalty area and the ball hit the inside of the left upright then off keeper Adam McDermott and into the net.

After a West End shot from James Norton was saved by Billingham keeper James Dawson, Synners advanced and added to the scoreline. Kurtis Howes was fouled on the edge of the box and JOE SCAIFE-WHEATLEY saw his free-kick hit the defensive wall but he re-gained possession and curled a shot into the right hand side of the net.

Billingham continued to carve out openings with Danny Chapman having a couple of efforts on goal well saved by McDermott.

West End halved the deficit in the 32nd minute when a free-kick from the left was headed home by defender ADAM DRYSDALE.

Synners re-gained their two goal advantage with a third in the 35th minute when a Scaife-Wheatley shot from range was saved; the ball going loose though where Ian Ward challenged the keeper and the ball ran to KURTIS HOWES who found the net with his shot.

Billingham continued to be in control after the break with Kurtis Howes from the left seeing his shot just past the far post.

A fourth came in the 68th minute with Chapman finding KURTS HOWES in the box who held off a challenge from a defender and fired in.

Howes came close to claiming a hat-trick when a Chapman ball across goal from the right found the forward at the back post, but his shot came back off the left hand upright.
