After an even start to the game, Synners made chances around the 15 minute mark with Ben Jackson bringing a save out of Bedlington keeper Callum Corkhill and then Kurtis Howes shooting over from his shot on the left.

It was the Terriers who opened the scoring though as a 20th minute ball over the top found CAMERON FENTON who finished well.

Synthonia levelled the game up from the penalty spot in the 30th minute after Kurtis Howes was fouled in the box by Corkhill; KURTIS HOWES converting the resulting spot-kick.

Bedlington regained the lead in the 66th minute with substitute MACKENZIE SHARPE shooting from the edge of the box with the ball squeezing past Synners keeper Ollie Simpson and into the bottom left corner of the net.

Chances for Synthonia to draw level again came as Aaron Croft crossed from the right to Howes who saw his volley well saved by Corkhill. Late in the game and a Joe Scaife-Wheatley dipping shot from distance went just over the bar.
