Synners came from behind against Newcastle University to take the three points and keep in touch with the top four.

The visitors opened the scoring in the 11th minute when BAILEY HUNTER saw his shot from the edge of the penalty area take a deflection before it crept into the bottom corner of the net.

Billingham levelled the game up on the stroke of half-time as a ball in from the left came to DANNY BOYLE to shoot home in first half added-on time.

Synthonia took the lead in the 50th minute when substitute Matty Wilson swung in a cross from the right for DANNY EARL to head in past keeper Daniel Dekanski.

Just five minutes later and Synners extended their lead when a foul on Wilson gave them a free-kick in a shooting position. CHRIS DICKINSON saw his initial shot cannon off the defensive wall, but he made no mistake as he regained the ball back and sent it flying into the net from outside the box.

Newcastle were denied by the frame of the goal to getting back into the game when a free-kick struck the cross-bar, but Synthonia wrapped up the points with a fourth in the 78th minute with Wilson agaion providing as he sent in a cross from the right where DANNY BOYLE nipped in front of a defender and headed the ball home past the keeper.
