Easington Colliery: Patton, Ball, Ashton, Pearson, Garside, Todd, Mitchell, Proctor, Pounder, Southern (Home-Jackson), Middleton (Devine). Subs not used; Talbot.

Synners came from behind to take the three points thanks to two second half penalty conversions from Matthew Wilson and Danny Boyle after Jack Pounder had given Easington a first half lead.

Easington opened the scoring in the 27th minute when a free-kick from the right was headed onto the left hand post from JACK POUNDER and the ball crept over the goal-line before being clawed away from Synners debutant keeper Tom Orton.

Billingham came close when a cross from the left saw another debutant, striker Ryan Noble, head just over the bar and then a ball from the left found Captain Foz Garton who shot just past the far post with his shot from the right of goal.

Half-time: Synners 0, Easington Colliery 1

Pounder was denied extending the lead by Orton as the striker ran through on goal only to see his shot saved by the keeper. Synthonia the advanced with Dom Joynes crossing from the left to Noble who could only head over.

Synners levelled the game up from the penalty spot in the 67th minute when Brennan Ball fouled Noble in the box; substitute MATTHEW WILSON converting the spot-kick past keeper Jack Patton.

A run forward from Alex Bruton Bruton brought a save out of Patton and minutes later Wilson went round the keeper and looked to have scored, but a covering defender cleared off the goal line.

Bruton was denied by Patton from close range and then another couple of chances went by for Synthonia to put the ball in the net as they pressed for a winner. The winner came though, again from the penalty spot as debutant Boyle played the ball forward for Wilson who was felled by Jak Ashton. With Wilson off the pitch for treatment, DANNY BOYLE stepped up to fire in from twelve yards in the 87th minute.
