Synners exited this seasons County Challenge Cup with a 3-1 defeat against Northern League Division one side Dunston UTS.

It was Billingham who opened the scoring in the 21st minute as former Dunston player Ben Pollock made a strong run forward and played to CLARK READER who shot home from just inside the box.

Dunston levelled the game up two minutes later with JORDAN NELLIS firing the ball home from all of 30-yards.

The visitors took the lead after 51 minutes when a cross from the left found MARK FITZPATRICK who saw his header saved by Synthonia keeper Callum Roberts, but shot home the rebound.

Dunston made sure of a spot in the next round with a third goal from the penalty spot in the 75th minute following a foul on SCOTT HESLOP who stepped up to convert the spot-kick.
