Synthonia travelled to South Tyneside for this Friday night fixture and exited this years FA Vase competition at the hands of the current First Division leaders.

Bilingham had a great chance to open the scoring in the 4th minute as Clark Reader went one on one with the keeper, the ball though took a wicked bobble and his shot went over the bar.

Both sides had chances after a quarter of an hour, for Synners Dom O'Connor saw his shot blocked, for Hebburn a James Fairley shot saw Callum Roberts save.

Hebburn opened the scoring in the 33rd minute as a right wing cross saw a header on goal which Roberts blocked; the loose ball came to LUKE SULLIVAN who headed home.

Billingham tied the game up going in to the break with a goal in the 41st minute when a Roberts ball forward came to Nico Weatherald who saw the ball to BEN POLLOCK to rifle in a shot from the edge of the box.

The hosts re-gained the lead in the 69th minute from the penalty spot after Ryan Grier was adjudged to have fouled Michael Richardson. GRAEME ARMSTRONG stepped up to convert from twelve yards.

Hebburn made sure of a spot in the next round with a third goal in added-on time as BEN DIBB-FULLER saw the ball home after Roberts had saved an initial shot.
