After a good opening ten minute spell from Billingham it was Barnoldswick who opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the 18th minute following a hold in the box; JACK COOP despatched the penalty.

The visitors doubled the lead going in at the break when, in the 40th minute, JOEL MELIA cut in from the left and sent in a great strike to the far side of the goal.

MELIA was on the scoresheet again in the 51st minute as he put his side three up. The Lancashire side then put the game to bed with another fine finish as substitute SCOTT BYROM from the left unleashed an unstoppable shot which found the top right corner of the net in the 82nd minute.
