Synners were quick out the blocks and took a 1st minute lead when CONNOR SMITH curled the ball home from the left angle of the penalty area.

Billingham created chances to double their lead as shots from Smith and Dylan Gnaglo went wide and then an Alex Bruton effort on goal was well saved by home keeper Carl Robinson.

Brandon had a great chance to level when a cross from the left found Jack Carr in front of goal who could only head straight at Synners keeper Richie Heslin. Synthonia then saw a Ben Pollock free-kick go just wide of the right hand post.

The hosts started the second period well, but it was Billingham who had the next chance to score as they counter-attacked through Bruton who played in Lewis Dalton; his shot though going over the bar.

Brandon United tied the game up from the penalty spot in the 63rd minute following a foul by Will Gowan. JACK CARR stepped up to convert from twelve yards. They almost took the lead with Brad Chisolm seeing a shot stopped by substitute keeper Callum Roberts.

A chance for Synners went by in the 75th minute with Pollock guiding a shot only inches past the far post from the left. Brandon then scored the winner with a fine strike on the left from LEWIS CHARLTON beating Roberts and nestling into the net.
