Synners scored twice in quick succession to take a two goal lead as firstly a 26th minute ball from the left from Louis Johnson across goal came to TOM BLIGH at the back post who squeezed the ball home between keeper and post. Less than a minute later and LOUIS JOHNSON received the ball in the box and shot home to make it three.

After the restart and Johnson forced Washington keeper Nathan Armin into a good block as he went in on goal. Billingham were then awarded a penalty following a foul on Smith, but Ben Pollock saw Armin dive the right way and save his spot-kick.
