Synners ran out 4-0 winners with a convincing performance over Jarrow.

Billingham started the game well and an early chance saw Louis Johnson on the left play to Dom Tiffany across goal who saw his shot straight at Jarrow keeper Jak Wells. Synners didn't take much longer to open the scoring as a 12th minute Alex Bruton break from the half-way line saw him pick out LOUIS JOHNSON who side-stepped a defender before firing in.

Both sides were denied by the cross-bar midway through the half as firstly Billingham's Foster Garton saw his shot clip the bar and then Jarrow's Jonathan Hirst hit a rasping shot which rattled the frame of the goal.

A chance for the visitors was denied when a shot on goal was blocked on the goal-line by James Frazer. Synthonia then threatened again as Johnson brought out a diving save from Wells.

Half-time: Synners 1, Jarrow 0

A brilliant save soon after the break from Callum Roberts kept Billingham on top and then Synners doubled their lead in the 56th minute with Ben Pollock driving into the box and playing off to Johnson who then rolled the ball to FOSTER GARTON to guide the ball past Wells and into the net.

A third was added after 85 minutes from the penalty spot when Bruton was fouled; BEN POLLOCK converting the spot-kick. Billingham then capped a fine afternoon's work with a fourth goal in the 89th minute with LOUIS JOHNSON making a strong run on goal from the right and finishing well from an acute angle.
