Synthonia earned the three points after trailing in the game to run out 2-1 winners after a dominant second half display.

Willington started the brighter of the two teams and after a couple of early chances they opened the scoring in the 14th minute as ex-Synner CONOR WINTER found the net.

Synners came back into it and a scramble in the box on 34 minutes should have seen them level but they couldn't put the ball in the net. Billingham though found the equaliser in the 41st minute with Louis Johnson picking out WILL GOWAN to the right of goal and he slotted home.

Half-time: Synners 1, Willington 1

Synthonia's momentum continued throughout the second half and Ben Pollock was denied from close range and then Gowan found Alex Bruton who shot just over.

The winner came in the 77th minute with Gowan setting up LOUIS JOHNSON who shot home from about twelve yards out.
