Billingham claimed the three points at Easington thanks to a Tom Bligh brace and a first Synners goal for young striker Dylan Gnaglo.
Synners opened the scoring in the 3rd minute when a ball across goal on the right from Louis Johnson came to DYLAN GNAGLO who saw his first shot hit the bar; the striker able to see home the rebound. Synthonia found the net again when a Michael Joseph free-kick on the half-way line sailed over Easington keeper Samuel Naylor and into the net, unfortunately for the defender, the Referee hadn't signalled for the free-kick to be taken. He tried his luck again though with Naylor this time pushing the ball over from beneath the cross-bar.
Synners were forced into a substitution on 27 minutes when defender Dom Joynes had to be carried to the changing rooms with a gashed leg. Both teams were then reduced to ten men in the 32nd minute when Synners' Alex Bruton went up for a header against Brennan Ball and was adjudged to have used an elbow, Ball reacted by pushing Bruton to the ground; Referee Mr Bainbridge brandishing a red to both players.
Synthonia added a second goal in first half stoppage time; keeper Callum Roberts made a good catch under pressure and quickly played the ball upfield to Matthew Wilson who helped the ball on to TOM BLIGH who rifled home from the edge of the box.
Half-time: Easington Colliery 0, Synners 2
The hosts halved the deficit in the 56th minute as LIAM ADAMSON cut in from the left and found the far corner of the net with his shot. They then levelled the game up on the hour when Adamson played across goal to the back post where JACK POUNDER was waiting to strike home.
Billingham created numerous chances to regain the lead with Johnson slotting past the keeper only to be denied by a covering defender on the line. Johnson then played in Ben Pollock who forced Naylor into a save and then substitute Cameron Wilson shot straight at Naylor.
Synners gained their reward with a third goal in the 78th minute as TOM BLIGH saw his long range shot take a deflection off a defender to take the ball over Naylor and in. Easington were denied an equaliser in the 88th minute when a free-kick into the box saw a header flicked on goal from close range which brought a fantastic reaction save out of Roberts who tipped the ball over the bar.
