Synners left empty handed in a 2-3 defeat as Heaton Stannington claimed all three points.

It was Billingham who took the lead when, in the 19th minute, a Will Gowan throw-in was flicked on by Louis Johnson to skipper BEN POLLOCK in the box who shot home under Stan keeper John Mordey.

The visitors levelled in the 26th minute with LEE MIDDLETON seeing his looping shot into the net from the edge of the box.

Heaton Stannington took the lead after a Synners free-kick saw them give the ball away and they broke quickly and saw the ball to CONNOR CAMPBELL who shot into the net at the near post from the right in the 69th minute.

Synthonia levelled from the penalty spot in the 85th minute after Connor Smith was fouled in the box and KALLUM HANNAH converted the spot-kick. The Stan re-gained the lead less than a minute later as a cross from the right saw LEWIS BURNS find the net from close range.

Synners were reduced to ten men in the 88th minute when Hannah received his second caution and sent off.
