It ended all square in the Friday night fixture as Thornaby claimed a point with two goals in the last ten minutes.

After a good opening from the visitors it was Billingham who went on to make the better chances as Louis Johnson made a strong run on goal only to shoot narrowly over the bar. As the game approached the half hour mark Synners had three close range shots blocked by defenders and goalkeeper James Dawson.

The opening goal came in the 38th minute as TOM BLIGH to the left of goal shot beyond Dawson and into the far corner of the net.

Synthonia extended their lead in the 54th minute as LOUIS JOHNSON cut inside and rifled home into the bottom corner of the net. Synners were awarded a penalty on the hour when Jamie Poole fouled Alex Bruton in the box; Bruton took the penalty himself but was denied by a save from ex-Synner Dawson.

Thornaby pulled a goal back in the 83rd minute with JAMIE POOLE netting, they then grabbed a point with an 87th minute equaliser from KYRAN CLARK.
