Synners made the midweek trip to Bedlington on a wet and blustery night and lost out 4-0 to the Terriers.

Billingham created a good opening when Dom Joynes made a strong run on the left and picked out Clark Reader to the right of goal who saw his shot just past the post.

Bedlington took the lead a minute before the break when a cross from the right came to MICHAEL BELL who turned and shot home.

Synthonia had a shout for a penalty waved away when a shot on goal seemed to strike the arm of a defender in the 76th minute. Then in the 79th minute Bedlington extended their lead when a mix-up in the Synners defence saw MICHAEL BELL gain possession and slot the ball into an empty net.

The home side made it three from the penalty spot after 87 minutes after Synners keeper Callum Roberts brought down Bradley Higgins; MICHAEL BELL stepped up to fire in his hat-trick. They then made it four in added-on time with KYLE DOBSON advancing into the box and finding the bottom right corner of the net.
