After leading the game, Synners lost out 3-2 at home against Durham with two penalty kicks converted by the visitors in the second half.

BEN POLLOCK gave Billingham the lead when he shot home in the 15th minute after a Kallum Hannah shot was blocked.

Durham levelled just before the break in the 43rd minute with JAMIE HAYMAN gaining posession and going through on goal and he finished well.

Synthonia re-gained the lead in the 54th minute as BEN POLLOCK traded passes with Hannah and fired in another great strike which left the keeper no chance.

The Citizens again tied the game up when in the 61st minute they were awarded a penalty for a foul in the box which JAMIE HAYMAN converted. They then claimed all three points in the 88th minute from a second penalty when Charlie O'Hara was adjudged to have hand-balled; JAMIE HAYMAN again stepping up and finding the net for his hat-trick.
