Synthonia travelled to Bishop Auckland and suffered a 5-2 defeat.

The Bishops opened the scoring after 12 minutes when a corner from the right wasn't cleared and fell to DARREN RICHARDSON who found the net with a low shot. Billingham levelled the game up in the 15th minute when, after some good work from the left from Joseph Smith, he found BEN JACKSON who shot home from the edge of the box.

The home side regained the advantage on the stroke of half time when a cross from the left hit defender RICHIE GASTON and the ball rolled in.

Bishop Auckland increased their lead in the 67th minute through CHRISTOPHER WINN, but Synthonia were back in the game after 78 minutes as JOSEPH SMITH latched onto a ball from the right and lobbed the ball over advancing keeper Adam McHugh and saw the ball home in off the left hand post.

The hosts wrapped the game up as WINN notched again in the 81st minute as he went through on goal; MICHAEL HOGANSON completed the scoring with a strong run from the left saw him past a few defenders before firing in past James Dawson in the 83rd minute.
