Synthonia welcomed Dunston UTS to the Norton Sports Complex and lost out 3-2 in an entertaining game.

Dunston opened the scoring in the 13th minute as a ball in from the left from Daniel Halliday found MARK FITZPATRICK who found the back of the net.

Synthonia turned the game around with two goals in four minutes as firstly a 32nd minute Matthew Osmond ball forward saw LIAM TRAVERS get behind the defence and shot home after seeing his initial header saved. Then in the 36th minute a long ball forward saw a Dunston defender head towards goal which TRAVERS pounced on and shot home his and Synners' second.

The visitors levelled the game in the 52nd minute with LIAM THEAR finding space in front of goal to score. They then claimed all three points with a third goal after 77 minutes as skipper DALE BURRELL squeezed home a shot just inside the right hand post.
