Synners hosted Washington at the Norton Sports Complex and earned a first league win of the season in a 1-0 victory.

Billingham Synthonia: Dawson, Nelson, Gavin, Dinsdale(c), Rowe, Gaston, Kelly, Hillerby, Travers (Woodier), Jackson, Jewson. Subs not used; Tunstall, Beblowski, Popple, Dalton.
Washington: Gladstone, Cham, R Gardner (Grieveson), Pickard, White(c), Mogwo, Gash, Brown, Chimbonda, Wilson (Karim), Dent (C Gardner). Subs not used; Greenwood, Pickford.

A goal-less first period saw Billingham have the better of the chances and only a double save from Washington keeper Daniel Gladstone from close range efforts by Liam Travers and Ben Jackson prevented Synners taking a half-time lead.

Half-time: Synners 0, Washington 0

The only goal of the game came in the 62nd minute from WILF DINSDALE who was named captain in the absence of injured skipper John Seaton; some good work on the left saw the ball played to Dinsdale who played a one-two with Travers and rifled home the return ball.

Synthonia were denied a second goal by an offside decision as Jordan Jewson was flagged as he fired home after Ash Woodier saw a shot charged down. The last ten minutes of the game saw Washington put the pressure on, but Synners held firm to claim the three points.
