Synthonia's Paul Roberts Player of the Season award was given to Dan McWilliams. Runners Up were David Hillerby & David Abel. Top goalscorer award went to Danny Earl.

The end of season presentation night will be held in the Synners Bar on Saturday May 12th with a 7.30pm start. There will be a quiz, buffet, Synthonia Reserves player of the season award as well as the Paul Roberts player of the season award for the first team, and top goalscorer award. During the evening the May £1,000 Synners Grand Draw will also be made. All supporters are welcome to attend what is sure to be a great night.

Synthonia lost 2-0 away against Spennymoor Town this afternoon in the STL Northern League Division 1. The home side opened the scoring in the 28th minute when they were awarded a penalty which Gavin Cogdon converted. A second goal was added after 38 mins through a David Abel own goal. Match Report

Synners lost 2-1 away against Ashington this evening in the STL Northern League Division 1. The Colliers went into a two-goal first half lead with goals from Craig Scott (3 mins) and Jonathan Godsmark (23 mins). Synthonia were reduced to ten men five minutes into the second period when David Abel was shown a straight red following a challenge on Paul Buzzeo. Billingham responded well from the set-back but had to wait until the 86th minute for some reward when Shane Henry found the net. Match Report

Billingham won 5-4 at home against Tow Law Town this afternoon in the STL Northern League Division 1. The Lawyers opened the scoring through Matthew Scott (22 mins) before Synners levelled from the prnalty spot through Chris Emms following a foul on Shane Henry (25 mins). Tow Law regained the lead not long after through Scott again (28 mins). Then Synthonia again tied the game up with a David Hillerby strike (38 mins). The goals continued to flow after the restart with Synners taking the lead with a well worked goal leading to Ross Gardner finding the net (49 mins). The lead lasted less than 60 seconds with Lawyers Mark Nixon being sent through on goal to level (50 mins). Goals from Jamie Blyth (57 mins) and Nathan Jameson (66 mins) gave Synthonia a much needed two goal cushion with Lawyers notching again through Nixon (77 mins) to complete a second consecutive goal fest with Synners this time coming out on top. Synthonia lost 9-1 away against West Auckland Town this evening in the STL Northern League Division 1. The hosts took an early two goal lead through an own goal from a corner (8 mins) and a Stuart Banks strike (9 mins). A further goal from Banks (34 mins) and a Mattie Moffat finish (44 mins) gave West Auckland a healthy half time lead. It didn't get any better for Synthonia after the restart as West added two further goals from Moffat (47 mins) and Michael Rae (52 mins). Billingham found the net through Jamie Blyth as he finished from a Shane Henry assist (61 mins). West then added further goals from Daniel Hindmarsh (78 mins) and Steven Johnson (79 mins), before Hindmarsh finished the scoring (82 mins). Match Report

Synners lost 3-1 at home against Spennymoor Town this afternoon in the STL Northern League Division 1. Spennymoor had the better of the opening exchanges and opened the scoring following a corner when Steven Richardson fired in (9 mins). The visitors added a second goal when a Craig Ruddy free-kick was headed home by Leon Ryan (32 mins). Synners pulled a goal back through Danny Newby who glanced a header home after some good work from Glenn Donaldson (38 mins). Billingham more than matched their opponents after the break, but couldn't find a breakthrough. Spennymoor sealed the game with a goal from Richardson (88 mins). Match Report

The only goal of the game came in the 10th minute when David Abel fired in a first time shot from a Chris Emms corner.
